This painting was a joy to make during a class with French painter Olivier Aubry. Our assignment was to create a colorful, expressive interpretation of a black and white woodcut. I chose "Fünf Kokotten" by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, an artist I admire, and who inspires me.
