These icons and Hoover, the seal, are used in a range of educational materials for a four day Coastal and Marine Spatial Planning Training Course by the Battelle Memorial Institute.
Hoover, the talking seal, has really existed! He lived at the New England Aquarium in Boston and could say a few sentences... in a strong Boston accent :-)
He's the mascot of the course and whenever he appears, he gives some helpful advice. He is also the "seal of approval" on the course certificate.
